Anthony is a graduate of Winston Salem State University's Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling, Master's in Business Administration, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Licensed Clinical Substance Abuse Therapist, Certified DBT, Trauma Certified, works with Personality Disorders, and Certified EMDR Therapist. Since 2017 he has provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. He has assisted with groups, worked with families, and individual therapy. A clients' well-being is our number one priority, and we go above and beyond to help them through all of their obstacles.
Anna graduated from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work with additional certification in Animal-Assisted Social Work. As a clinical social worker, she strives to approach therapy from a holistic point of view. This allows you to connect your mind, body and spirit in a way that promotes whole body healing. She values acceptance and non-judgement as essential aspects of healing and strive to promote autonomy in her clients - It is her goal to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you are given room to access your wisdom, reflect and expand self-awareness. Anna is committed to creating an environment that is respectful and affirming of all abilities, races, genders and sexual orientations. Through the use of EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT and mindfulness, she provides treatment services to adults affected by a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, life transitions and relationship issues.
April is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and a proud graduate of Liberty University with a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Throughout her career she has worked with children, teens, young adults, and geriatric populations. She is culturally aware and sensitive to people from diverse cultural, religious, genders, and racial backgrounds. She believes that people just want to be heard and accepted in a nonjudgmental environment free from biases and prejudices. Her philosophy is that building rapport with clients and establishing a therapeutic relationship is the most important part of counseling. It is vital in helping people find healing and meaning for their lives, which helps them overcome life’s challenges and setbacks. In addition, she believes people are able to solve their own problems, if given the opportunity to do so in a safe environment. Theoretical perspectives that she most commonly rely upon are CBT, Play Therapy, DBT and Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Spiritual Integration.
She is available to see clients through telehealth and in person during some daytime hours, but mostly Fridays and Saturdays.
Ilene received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1998 and continued her studies to earn her Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling in 2003. In 2006, she earned her license and has held numerous positions across the childhood mental health field in this community. She has consulted in early child care and medical pediatric settings, facilitated social skills and parent support groups, and conducted home visits and early care educator professional development trainings. Additionally, she holds a certificate as a Professional School Counselor and is a Board Certified Coach in Family Life Education. She prefers to work with children under the age of 12 and is passionate about the therapeutic power of play that can help children work through difficulties in their life. By providing a safe space to express themselves, she is able to build a rapport with her clients by using a blend of child-centered and therapist directed activities through attachment focused and sensory based work.
Kelly is a graduate of Divine Mercy University School of Counseling and is a certified Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. Since 2020, she has
helped clients flourish by providing a safe and empathetic environment to grow and heal within their own life journey. Kelly has experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, and women’s/maternal mental health issues. She is certified in EMDR and has an eclectic approach using a variety of evidence- based practices including: CBT, DBT, Person Centered Approach, Gestalt Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy and other trauma based therapies. She is available to provide Christian counseling and faith based counseling as well. She believes in the integrated view of the human person, mind, body, and soul, and that each person is called to flourish and hope. She is available for telehealth sessions.
